Diagnostics & quick fixes £39

Not sure what’s wrong? Our initial assessment includes up to 30 minutes of testing and troubleshooting. If we can fix the problem within that time without replacement parts, it’s included in the £39 charge.

If more work is needed, we’ll explain your options and provide a fixed quote before proceeding. Your assessment fee is credited towards the repair.

If we identify the fault but you decide against repairing it, the assessment fee still applies—including when a repair would cost more than the computer is worth. If we cannot identify the problem or recommend a useful next step, we’ll waive the fee.

Laptop screen replacement

Cracked, flickering or damaged screen? We can replace your laptop screen and get everything looking clear again. Contact us with your laptop’s make and model for a quote.

Battery replacement

Always reaching for the charger? We can check your laptop’s battery and fit a suitable replacement to help you get more time between charges.

Memory & storage upgrades

Give your computer room to breathe. More memory can help when running several applications, while an SSD upgrade can make starting up and opening files much faster. We’ll check compatibility and recommend an upgrade that makes sense for your machine.

Data transfer to your new drive is also available.

Software installation & setup

Need help installing an application or getting Windows working properly? We can install and configure software, set up drivers and updates, and help resolve installation problems. Any paid software licences are quoted separately.
